Walnut Halwa

This halwa recipe is mostly in West Asian countries. In Asian countries, it’s primarily famous in dry cities like Quetta, Layyah, or other lowest cities of Punjab Pakistan. Most people did not know how to cook this recipe. So, I am here to guide you how to cook this recipe.

Ingredients

1 cup walnuts

½ rock sugar powder

1 tbsp. cucumber seeds

½ tsp cardamom powder

A pinch of saffron

1 tsp chopped dates

¼ cup milk

Direction

Soak walnuts in hot water for about 15 minutes or in normal water for about 2-3 hours.

Now get out walnuts from the water and clean them with a cloth. Grind this walnut with cucumber seeds.

In a pan roast grind walnut for 15 minutes then add rock sugar powder, cardamom powder, and saffron and cook for about 10 minutes. Mix it well.

Remove from flame. Spread dates on it.

Decorate it with pumpkin seeds and dates and serve hot.
