Multani Sohan Halwa
Multani sohan halwa is
mostly famous in Punjab. But outside Punjab, some cities order or cook sohan
halwa at home. Therefore, I am here to help you how to cook this delicious
recipe at home. So stay with us to enjoy this recipe.
Ingredients

½ kg
sugar
·
½ corn
flour
·
¼ almonds
·
100 gm
pistachio
·
50 gm
green cardamom
·
½ cup
ghee
·
1 cup
milk
·
2 litter
water
·
1 tsp
saffron
Cooking steps
Heat 1 liter water then add sugar, and boil for about 5
minutes.
Then add 1 cup of milk and boil for about 5 minutes.
Then add 1 cup of milk and boil for about 5 minutes.
Then add the sugar syrup and remaining water.
Then add 1 tbsp. in warm water.
Liquefy the corn flour in a little water. Then add to the corn
flour mixture and cook over low or medium flame.
Add 1 tbsp. ghee when corn flour becomes thick.
Continue adding ghee (1/2 kg) slowly during cooking to stop
it from penetrating to the pan.
Mix it well. It is ready, as ghee separates from the mixture.
Add almonds, cardamom, and pistachio to it.
Lard a tray or pan with
oil or butter.
Spread halwa in it and press it with a spoon to adjust in it.
Decorate it with almonds, pistachio, and cardamoms.
As it cools down, cut it into pieces and serve.
