Badami Shahi Tukray
Badami Shahi Tukray is
one of the famous joys of South Asian food and it’s known as a royal
dessert. It can be observed as a continental variety of bread desserts.

Ingredients
10 bread slices
150 gm sugar
1 packet of fresh cream
1-1/2 milk
1/2 cup ricotta cheese khoya
1 tbsp. hot milk
1 tbsp. almond
1 tbsp. kewra water
1/2 tbsp. saffron
1 tbsp. pistachios sliced
Direction
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees c.
- Cut bread into
four pieces.
- Heat ghee in
a deep pan.
- Fry bread
slices for about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from
the boil oil and arrange in a tray.
- Dissolve
sugar and saffron in 1 cup of milk.
- Transfer
this mixture over the fried bread. In a small bowl, combine the remaining
1 cup of milk with cream and khoya.
- Pour over
the sodden bread and leave it for about 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle it
with kewra water, pistachios, and cut almonds over it. Bake for 15 minutes
or until well done.

Tukray are ready to serve.
